The iRiver E30 comes wrapped in full ABS like plastic. It is built with a classy look for the palms. In the new iRiver music player there are no physical buttons with the exception for the ON/OFF button. The new slim and stylish iRiver E30 has 4GB of memory capacity which can hold up to 1000 songs. The LCD screen is 1.8 inch long providing better quality colour display.
With this cool gadget one can now listen to music, watch video collections, view photo collections, create voice recordings of dear ones or can simply turn to favourite FM radio station. The iRiver E30 is the ideal mobile amusement unit for listening and viewing needs.
iRiver music players are a little complicated when compared with the other players. The iRiver has a display of 89.9 x 42 x 9.8 mm slab which comes with a 1.8-inch LCD display. This iRiver E30 can give up to 52hr audio-playback on the go so the battery life is really good.
The new glossy iRiver E30 can handle APE and FLAC lossless audio. This also accompanies the SRS WOW HD audio enhancement which gives superior audio quality. To add to this interesting gadget, it provides a battery life of up to 52 hours of non-stop audio playback.

The Good
The stylish iRiver is a comparatively light unit than other music players in the market. This little gadget has scored a good sound rating in the test conducted. Based on the survey of battery test upon various audio players, the iRiver has emerged with eight hours and 15 minutes on the average.
iriver comes with the right size which is small enough to fit into pocket. One can very well hold it in the arm-band. It is very comfortable while jogging. Most remarkable appeal is its eventual support for FLAC format.
The Bad
This stylish gadget is restricted to proprietary SMV format for video. Also the screen is slightly smaller for video. This gadget has a very poor video rating. The supplied software that comes with the iRiver is sometimes not compatible with it. Also the video conversion rating is slow when compared with the other products in the markets.
Areas that can be Improved
Video conversion speed can be improved a bit. The video quality can be improved and the display screen size increased a little more The inbuilt software could be upgraded to function with more versatility.
Verdict
iRiver E30 is a very sleek and easy to use iPod. It comes with many special features like FM radio, voice recorder, alarm clock, FLAC support. iRiver E30 has advanced SRS Wow sound effects, which makes the atmosphere rock when music is played. It has a considerably good battery life and comes in an affordable price tag.
