Kindle for iPhone
Amazon kindle proved to be a very successful eBook reader and it sold like hot cakes within a few hours of its launch in 2008. Amazon's next aim was to take its vast collections of eBooks to millions of iPhone users. They released the kindle for iPhone application.

There are ample advantages for Apple and Amazon in creating this application. First Amazon can easily get access to over 12 million Apple users. The users need not buy a separate eBook reader. Drawbacks of reading in iPhone
Kindle for iPhone is a very useful application and has been used by many people since its release. However there are certain drawbacks with it.
1. First of all the display screen of iPhone is not very good for reading long hours.
2. although the images are displayed in color, they are small and not rendered as good as in kindle.
3. Long hours of reading in your iPhone might strain your eyes.
4. The battery in the iPhone will drop quite quickly when used for such a long time leaving you unable to do other main tasks with your iPhone.
5. IPhone is easier to carry than kindle, but not suitable to use hold and scroll comfortably for hours of time.
6. News paper subscriptions, blogs and magazines are not available in this application.
Conclusion
